ADMET Peel Strength Testing Systems
ADMET's reliable and easy to use universal testing machines are employed by the adhesive and polymer industry to test peel strength, bonding, and shear properties. Our adhesive testing machines have many features specifically designed to simplify testing. For example, our testers automatically average peel strength loads over a specified distance and will report adhesive strength per unit width of adhesive. ADMET's adhesive testing machines will perform your adhesive tests according to ASTM or ISO standards. We also offer a large selection of grips and fixtures specifically designed for adhesive testing.

90 Degree peel test
There are many different types of peel testing. Adhesives and layered composites are tested on ADMET equipment according to these common specifications:
ASTM D903 - Peel or Stripping Strength of Adhesive Bonds
ASTM D1002 - Shear Strength of Single-Lap-Joint Bonded Metal
ASTM D1876 - Peel Resistance of Adhesives (T-Peel Test)
ASTM D3163 - Adhesively Bonded Rigid Plastic Lap-Shear Joints in Shear
ASTM D3164 - Adhesively Bonded Plastic Lap-Shear Sandwich Joints in Shear
ASTM D3167 - Floating Roller Peel Resistance of Adhesives
ASTM D6862 - 90 Degree Peel Resistence of Adhesives
ASTM D6252 - Peel Adhesion of Pressure-Sensitive Label Stocks at a 90° Angle
ASTM D3330 - Peel Adhesion of Pressure-Sensitive Tape
ASTM F88 - Seal Strength of Flexible Barrier Materials
ASTM F2256 - Strength of Tissue Adhesives in T-Peel by Tension Loading
